Cucurtobitphobia

I would like to share the details of my old personal digital work, Cucurtobitphobia (fear of pumpkins) with you guys. I scanned my unfinished sketch and then used Adobe Photoshop 7. I don't remember how long I finished this digital work. No need to tell you more, just take a look at the big photo collage below so you can see the details. Please click this to full view.

At present, I don't do digital artworks too much because the battery of my tablet pen was empty. Boo hoo hoo... Well, I need to find a new battery or I wish I could buy a Wacom tablet.

Another my work in progress, weee.... it was so fun and enjoyable. I can't wait to finish my five wooden paintings. I think I enable comments just right now. God bless you all!

Hi Mall, sooo happy to see that you enable the comments on your blog again :) thank you for sharing the details on your work Cucurtobitphobia. It is, as usual, a very interesting and well elaborated piece. We like how the little girl avoids stepping the pumpkins XD and the way you use the brighter colours in the pumpkins eyes and mouth.

The painting for the art show looks gorgeous. Even the sun agrees, that's why he is shinning on your desk like we can see in this picture :D &hearts, ♥

Gorgeous, as always. Interesting how you could create artwork from the most unthinkable things. (Pumpkins! XD) A Wacom tablet would be great for you, no more batteries! :D They're not that expensive either, I have the smallest (ie. cheapest) model and it works great.

'Tis nice to see your workspace too. Cool phone! ;)

pat&susana: yeah, I changed my mind so I can enable the comments, hee hee! I really hope I could get a Wacom so I could do more digital artworks. Hee hee, mee too, I like the little girl who runs away from the pumpkins. I wish I could know how to walk with the long sticks, hahaha! Glad you both really liked my painting for the art show! ♥♥♥ *hugs*

aneesah: thank you very much! Yeah right, I need to save money for buying Wacom, I hope. *fingers crossed* I always make my wooden paintings on my computer table. *winks*

:) The layout of your blog looks different... It's gorgeous with the film strip on the sides!! ♥ ♥ ♥ aww, you'll see that you will be able to buy a Wacom *fingers crossed* so that you can make more beautiful digital artworks.

hahaha... we would also like to walk with the long sticks. We've seen people here walking in things like that, and we are always amazed how they manage to stand in those huge sticks 0.o we would be afraid to fall in the ground :P

The painting for the show is amazing! We are sure that the people in the art show in the USA will love it as much as all of us :D yesterday we posted a text in our blog in Live Journal telling all about that art show ;)

Wow! I'm always sceptical about using digital technology to do illustration, but I've never seen something like this. Really amazing. How was it done?

eric: Hehehe! thank you very much! First I made a sketch (pencil) and scanned it. Then I used this image in Adobe Photoshop. Mostly I use Photoshop default brushes. Please read this Duffzilla's tutorial making natural brushes so you can make your own brushes so your digital art might look like traditional. Enjoy experimenting, eric! Try it! *winks*
