Sneak Peek: Edward Scissorhands
I'm working on my Edward Scissorhands piece for the upcoming group show, Crazy4Cult @ Gallery1988. I am falling in love with Edward because he's so innocent and humble. Wish me luck! :)
And don't forget to watch my SALE graphite pieces on my online store this Sunday at 10pm ( Philippine time only. If you're unsure about your time, check the time converter out. )

It's looking great, MayAnn! I love it already!
I can't wait!!!
I wish I have the same talent as yours. Really really nice. :)
:) thank you guys!
I always had a soft spot for Scissorhands...although I despise creepy things, that film spoke to my heart. Your painting does the exactly same thing, but it makes wanna hug him -if I could- even more! He's so cute~
I despise creepy things, yet Scissorhands had always a place in my heart! Your artwork makes him even more sweet and vulnerable. I so would have wanted to hug him, if he was real~
After having seen the finished piece, all I can say is: * high fives *
...Wait, that's more doing something rather than saying...
Ah well. *high fives again*
But in all honesty, you captured at least two moments from that film simultaneously in the final product - the darker moment when we're first introduced to Ed and his environment, and the moments when we're shown that he transcends his handicap (if having sharp magnesium tipped blades for hands can be said to be a handicap).
All in all, bravo Miss Hepburn.
