Andi's World

Sigh, I'm in a very bad mood nowadays. My stupid tummy is painful, this makes me sick. I want my body to stop shaking right now. I'm scared if I could fall unsteadily into the darkest path? I don't know. Argh, I'm not a happy girl anymore. Hmmm oops sorry, I don't want you all to see me sad and depressed, so don't worry about me.

I'll better post my personal bw drawings next time. Let me show you guys my recent coloured art commission, Andi's World. I worked on it for my client Rene Enriquez. This theme is about family adventure (9" x 12.5", acrylics + coloured pencils on Arches paper). Click this photo to full view.

I made these three characters: Rene, his beautiful wife Jolana and his adorable cheerful daughter Andi. Those curious rabbits are very surprised and astonished how Andi makes those magical glowing orbs with her wand. Then she makes her blessed parents happy and smile. Awww. Well, I really enjoyed doing this art commission. Rene, I thank you for everything. You guys made my day. Saludo, maraming salamat po!

I must admit that I seriously wish I could live in a magical dreamland, like this artwork. I wanted to be happy forever. However, my dreams were broken. When will I find a true happiness and peace? (*Mall frowns and is tired of crying and weeping...*) I need my depressed mind and heart to be calm right now.

Okay, I'll post my next coloured art collage, A Day in My Life for the Paper Quilt Project soon. If anyone wants to commission me, please email me. Bye.

*sigh* We both feel really sad to know that you're not feeling in a good mood these days, darling May Ann.... :( But please don't feel bad to write about it here, please do share the way you feel with all of us. Hopefully, by doing it you can feel a bit better or at least a bit more relieved *twins hug Mall tightly* There's this quote that says: "The river of life flows with angels upstream, blending bliss and sadness with the knowledge that you'll meet happiness around the bend." You'll see that happiness WILL be around the corner for you... we'll be both here, hoping and wishing with all of our heart that your tummy will stop aching and that the darkness will be replaced with rainbows and colourful joy like in this beautiful artwork of yours! ♥ ♥ ♥ Please know that you can always count on our eternal support and friendship as we love you as friends/sisters *BIG hug and much kisses*

May Ann, I know, you really don't know me. I'm Joyce, your new fan, from USA. I really love your magical blog. I totally agree with patricia and susana, don't feel bad to write, that's okay dear. Everyone loves you, believe me! :)

Rene is very lucky to have your original work! I'm so jealous! I seriously want to touch your magical hands! :P Your art commission looks very fabulous, brilliant and amazing, excellent job! It reminds me of Hayao Miyazaki's style, do you know him? I wish I could buy your works!

I think you're a wonderful kind person who loves making everyone happy and smile. Your art never cease to amaze us, Mall. I hope you will be okay. I give you more hugs and kisses! Please keep it up and be strong!

Hi Mall,

Thank you for posting these images when "Andi's World" was still a work-in-progress. It's nice to see how you started from a rough sketch to the finished artwork. And what a wonderful painting it is. We love every detail and stroke you have laboriously put in there. And we are so honored that you accommodated our request. Daghang Salamat! :-)

"For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, *the redemption of our bodies*. For in this hope we were saved... Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written,

"For your sake we are being killed all the day long;
we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered."

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."
-Paul, Romans 8
