ACEO
Moshi, moshi! How are you all doing? I know all of you are way too eager and excited to see my small paintings. Yipee! You know what, when I organized my messy art materials & supplies in my room, I saw extra unused Arches papers. It made me realized, "Oh yeah, I remember a few of my fans asked me to make ACEO paintings for selling. They said to me they can't afford my big ones." They are so sweet! I grabbed Arches papers and cut them into ACEO 50 pieces (I cancelled to make 100 pieces but I'll save my 50 ideas for another time.) ACEO stands for Art Card Editions and Originals. These cards have one main rule - they are 2.5" x 3.5" inches, the size of a standard card. And collecting them is a great way to afford original artwork.
So I was excited to start painting them. It's quite good to focus on painting them for improving my skills / getting more ideas... it's like, I enjoyed doing different color schemes, tones, lines, details / elements, compositions, watercolor techniques (I was a former watercolor lover), brush strokes, contrasts, patterns, more. They look like thumbnails, storyboards or catalogs, haha! I didn't have time to take photos of my work-in-progress stuff, at least you guys have watched my video in my previous blog entry.
And ta-da! I can't remember how many days I kept painting them. I know, I'm sometimes forgetful. It's time to play my magical cards and see! *shuffle cards*

I must admit that I wish these small paintings could be all mine. *evil laugh* Really, it would be nicer to frame & display them on my wall. But well, I let them go, I'm super happy if art collectors / fans would be happy to have Mall pieces at their sweet homes.
And... I also decided to sell these old original drawings which I found & cleaned from my messy art boxes. I still have other old sketches / drawings but I keep them for my personal collection, hehe. So here, here.
I created this rough sketch before I made my sold acrylic & colored pencil on wood for Gallery Nucleus show in 2008 year. Visit my old blog entry about Sea Dragon. Pencil drawing on thin paper.
This is my old sketch, "Red Tsunami Queen". Do you remember her? I really forgot to post this rough sketch on my blog! I did this before I created my sold mixed media painting for Cubao exhibit show in 2009 year. Check out this old blog entry.
Ahhh yes, I forgot to post this again! Why am I forgetful? I created this drawing when I was bored last March 2010. My girl character is named Juliette. She's cute when she's sad, isn't she? Graphite on Canson pastel paper.
And finally, this old drawing entitles "Babu's Confusion" in 2006 year. Yes, Babu is confused. The medium is graphite on Strathmore paper.
UPDATED:
All ACEO pieces and drawings are SOLD OUT. Thank you!
Apart from that, I walked to the beach from my house after finishing all ACEO stuff, I needed to inhale, exhale, stretch out, view beautiful sunset & explore shells & fishes for my relaxing time. Beach is all good. OHMMmmmmm...
And me. My scar on forehead, freckles & cute panda-eyebags. Indeed, I look so tired... yet fierce. MMMM!
And adorable seaweeds. They seem shy.
Okay, I stop posting more images. Have a wonderful day guys!

Holy moly, such an amazing spread... I Wish the sale was 'Today'. Got my eye on a few, I can only hope I will be early enough in line to pick them up.
Alarms, set and I am going to have a sleepless 14th, I reckon.
Awesome project this and thank you!
I would love to have almost every one of them :) all soooo beautiful :)
I now feel i don't work hard enough haha. But really they are amazing and so are the sketches.
Whoa too amazing. Hopefully I can pick one or two up!
Oh wow, I would love to have a deck of those cards. I can't even properly express how beautiful they are! I have to get at least one, for sure.
Me too. Thank you for your hard work. Bye peet. I really want that one... Bye peet
Those are the most extraordinary ACEO's I've ever seen. I would want to keep them all too - how lovely of you to let your creations fly off into the world to make other people happy.
Everything is just so lovely! If I had the money, I'd definitely buy. Sadly, I'm pretty broke myself because of art materials and such. Heee. :)
Like DoodleFactory says, some of the most amazing ACEOs ever! They're stunning, and so consistently beautiful. Thank you for sharing!!!
Aye, supermodel battle scars. I can see why too; only so much beach to go around for those models to get their glamour photo shoots in. Keep up the good fight, Miss Hepburn.
Those cards are awesome! I wish I would have got one in time... they look all sold. That's good for you :) xxx Love your freckle nose ;)
D: aaaw. I wish I saw this sooner. I want to save my allowance and buy your cards. I love your way of style. And the picture of the beach looks beautiful. :)

Your art is *so beautiful*! I get absorbed in your paintings because of the beautiful colors, gradual color changes, and there seems to be a story/world in each one. I love the ones with the little masked character because those seem to be taking place in a very different world- one that is strange and spiritual or magical. I've seen your artwork a few times at Gallery Nucleus! Thanks, also, for posting up photos of your process. They are really cool to see! Much respect to you and admiration!
just to say "WOW" !!
EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS POST IS BEAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTIFUUUUUUUUUL <3 <3 <3
